After a long journey from New Orleans we finally made it in to Nashville at 11pm. What I craved after so many hours on the road was a comfortable cozy bed to have a good night’s rest in preparation for the next day. I woke up the next morning eager to take on my days tasks.
The space I was surrounded in truly came alive in the morning. As a creative I tend to stay away from spaces that do not get an ample amount of light. Everything about @acozycasa made me feel comfortable and at peace. I compared the last home to something you would find in Condé Nast this was more of a kinfolk home to me
Waking up feeling inspired, I was eager to get on with the day and to get right in to doing what I love to do - but I allowed myself to slow down and ease into the day. This space effects you in that way. I appreciate slow mornings because they allow me to meditate on my day and map out how to navigate through it.
This home did just that for me. It allowed me to take my time. Not only did it force me to take a more relaxed pace, but the contagiously harmonious setting was the perfect antidote in remedying my insomnia. I woke up happy, truly refreshed and above all, grateful.
We went shopping with mY FRIEND Charles. He showed us his favorite places in the city to find trendy designer items. We went by UAL and overstayed our welcome. Charles was wonderful. As a native of Nashville it was evident that he loved his city. If you are a fashion blogger in the city looking for where to shop for all the trendy items Charles is your guy.
Dinner at fin and pearl. Everything on their menu was utterly delicious. I left no mussel unturned.
